Dear Administrator of the Trade Department, Dankien Moebus,
I'd like to introduce myself first: My name is Samuel Degenhardt, I am the newly appointed Director of Trade Affairs of the Independant Mining Guild. It is my task to oversee all trade agreements and improve trade relations.
You were so kind as to send me a message in which you pointed out that you are interested in starting some new trade cooperations or improving already existing ones.
I did a bit of a research about existing contracts and found the following:
> Omicron Supply Industries (OSI) supplies Holman, Java, and Falkland with basic supplies and gets good conditions on ore purchases. Needless to say, we'd like to continue that supply contract.
> I figured out that you must have some tech deals with IMG since you field IMG equipment and ships, but my request about that hasn't been answered yet and perhaps it's not that important for what we are doing.
I guess the ore prices in the old OSI contracts need to be recaculated since the ore market crisis and some other details will need to be adjusted as well, since this contract has been in action for quite some time. But I'll need to talk to OSI about this.
I am also interested in any creative plan that you might have, so just let me hear whatever you can think of because since I am new in this position, I do not flatter myself by assuming that I know enough to see opportunities every time they cross my way.
Thank you for getting into contact with me, Sir. I hope for a good and mutually beneficial cooperation in the future.
Yours sincerely,
Samuel Degenhardt
IMG Director of Trade

The reason why I would like to increase relations between our factions is more political than practical. Some zoners like me think that Sirius would be better if the House governments and the House Corporations would have less political and economic power. Therefore, I am more interested to do business with independent groups like IMG than with House affiliated groups.
Omicroners are not autonomous that is why we need to import a lot of goods to our home system Omicron-74. Practically, this is mostly basic commodities that I would like to buy from IMG: water, food ration, oxygen and consumer goods. I've noticed that some of your bases sell these goods at a quite low price. It is also true that in a near future we will need some metals and ores to conduct an important project. In exchange we could supply your bases with a lot of various commodities. Our 'specialties' are alien organisms and human organs, but I guess IMG will be more interested in mining machinery or in other technical stuff that we could provide. Anyway, we have a lot of contacts so we are able to find almost everything. If you are more interested in scientific knowledge or Zoners technology I am sure the other Omicroners Administrators could deal something with you. If required we could plan a meeting all together.
Regarding our past agreements I don't know exactly when it was done and what it is about, it happened before I joined the Zoners Trading Consortium which became later the Omicroners. I will ask the 'old members' about that topic.
So, I hope this is the beginning of a new partnership between the Independent Miners Guild and the Omicroners.
Best regards,
Dankien Moebus
