I was flying my newly acquired Lynx the other day. It was all decked out with the weapons and class 10 shield, but no armor. I wasn't looking to fight, you know, just flying around. My ship was traveling through the trade lane towards a Council station (I didn't remember the name). As soon as I dropped out...ouch. My shields came down and my ship was gone. It took about 5 seconds before my ship was scrap. I don't fly around Gallia a whole lot. So, that was a real awakening for me. I must be more cautious next time.:$
Some Gallic stations have Nova Torpedo launchers as weapon platforms.
I suppose Igiss finds it funny. All stations and NPCs are a pain in Gallia. It's generally better to stay away from them.

I would implement it in rest of the sirius as well.
I don't think that would be a good idea.
RP-ing in disco requires you to type quite a lot. While typing you're very vulnerable and dead in two seconds unless you used engine kill to drift just before typing, which both makes you predictable and means you have to move away from the target.
Implementing killNPCs it in the rest of Sirius would frustrate people who like RP and long messages to no end. It would be like when those battleship patrols pop up to pop one of those instakill missiles on your ship while you're typing, except now every NPC would be like that.

But it is possible to survive there... at least with snubs, i'd like to see how caps do there...
I am flying in Gallia GRN Valor and Council Redemption BS, without a proper armor upgrade (CAU 6 and above) you are dead meat there. VHF's arent a problem because they cannot bring your shields down but bomber patrols shoot the hell out of you. But if you know how to fly a BS then NPC's arent a problem unless they come in big numbers. I like Gallia because when you learn how to survive there, then the rest of Sirius is easy :)
