since we re blessed with the current carrier model for another update - i sat down and made another concept of how the carrier might look like in the near future of Liberty...

it basicly follows what Xing had thought out - a dreadnought with openings....

but on my version - it comes with one large rearwards launchbay, one quick-catapult-lauch forwards - and an open shuttle bay.

to follow the classic carrier concepts - it comes with a sideways control tower and a centralized docking bay to be accessed from the rear of the ship.

opposite of the control tower there is a large "block" meant to store the many fighters.

not the most logical ship - but it was fun making it:)

oh - the bend line and the spikes are meant to hold running lights to guide launching or docking ships....

the whole thing isn t as detailed as xings carrier ... but it was only a quick model anyway ... i still hope xing submits his ( one of his ) carriers sometimes...

It looks more like a 4th generation ship.

Nice.

I think it looks 1000% better then current Carrier. I had the current, and it truly sucked. This one looks like fun to RP,and fly.

The only part of Liberty's array of factions this could fit is the nomad infested one, section 18.

Aside from that, despite the gorgeousness of the model (and it is really something to behold), I don't really see it fitting anywhere in FL. The design is too much of a departure from current Liberty lawful and Order design, but retains the signature back end present on most of the ships of both factions, so cant be put anywhere else.

Spyglass? Perhaps, but I don't really think so either.

It reminds me of the head of a wizard's staff from Dragon Age, I think.
