Well, here's the situation that happened to me a while ago.
I, as a miner, got pirated by OCie gunboat. Well, I managed to engage cruise go on deep-space journey together with pirate. Then, the server crashes.
We both respawn at our last "saved" location. I'm in the mining field, he's somewhere else in system.
I'm oorp'ly thanking him for the journey, and then we're having a short oorp chat, via in-game pm's. During that I'm flying to the base.
He intercepts me, and, without saying or demanding anything, opens fire and destroys my ship. We had no other conversation besides the //oorp private messages between ourselves.
What I'm asking is - did his demands in before the server crash stayed valid? Which means he does not need to RP with me again, if he meets me after the server crash, even if we both reappeared on different sides of system, after crash (no less then 30k away from each other)? Why I'm asking this - to me it looked like that was a rule violation, but since admin(s) decided not to impose sanction, I started to think that there's something I dont understand in the rule mechanics when the server restarts. (5.2 and 6.6) ?
P.S. Dont consider me a rule lawyer, it's my second sanction report since... 24th December
As I said, he didn't say or RP anything after the server crash. Just engaged and killed me. And it's not like we "respawned" right next to each other, but on different sides of the system.
If that is not the rule violation, then can anyone tell me, for how long does the demand stays "active", and for how long does the "already Roleplayed" part stays? both in distance and in time.
Edit: before the server crashed, as I said, we had a deep-space journey on cruise, few hundred K away from sun. And yes, he made a demand back then.
Thanks alot, but I dont drink alcohol, including wine, unfortunately. Prefer pure water.
So, would you be so kind to provide some explanation, instead? Because currently it's a gray area in rules, for me. I.e., I dont understand how it works in such situations.

Never say that again. You don't want trouble with the admins, right?
They are looking at every sanction report. They are humans, not robots. Don't say something like this again.
Apart from that?
You both started at new positions far away from each other -> no reason to fell obligated to the "lost" rp conversation. In my opinion, unprovoked attack without prior RP demand.
