this feels like battlefield Bad company doesn't:P, its great idea you have there. tho I sugest you go behind enemy line "rhienland" and steal thier ore shipment now thats great RP:D.
If not your ideas are good too, there has been too many pirate in liberty this days, and yea use police Id its much easier.
So far weve applied our idea - were now running four gunboats with the [9th] tag -
The LNS-Hornet
The LNS-Tacoma
The LNS-Tempe
The LNS-Kirkland
weve had mixed results, but about equal success and failure rate - and tons of people who support what were doing - our failures have mostly been not being familiar with gunboats at all, and so learning how to set them up for pvp - but some battle razors and pulse cannons later, were all set
the next post will probably be a new thread detailing the inrp fluff of who we are.
as well, the majority of my group perfer to be navy instead of police, even if we get TLAGSNET as police - *shrug* but i think we can manage without it.
But i have a question -
As an indie faction, do i need to goi through some sort of process on the forums for some official setup? a pinned thread said something about needing 500mil, and somehwere else i read a faction needs at least 4+ members.
oh yeah - anyone who wants in our little group, just PM me.
You might want to use some fighters as well.
As a pirate, I would rather face 4 Gunboats than 2 Guardians, the reason being GBs can't catch up with fighters. I can just thrust away and dock if GBs are after me. I can't do that against fighters.

With this process you can become an official faction. However, because of the rule of one official faction per ID, [LN] is the currently the official faction of the Liberty Navy ID so you cannot create a faction creation request under the current circumstances. Just to note, there is an official LPI faction as well.
Furthermore, as Malenka said, you can use Liberty Gunboats with LPI Guard ID while having access to TLAGSNET which is an important asset for the kind of mission you are currently up to.
Well, then with everyones blessing we'll just be an unofficial Indie faction -
but we'll register our ships on the big LNS ships thread in comm's board
and while we mostly run gunboats, the point above was not lost on us after an Outcast VHF made us all like fools
I figure, ill run two characters with either, and have my other friends do the same - so we can switch up as needed - then we run patrols of at least one fighter\gunboat pair
I do think this is quite a good idea. It does have a large "Battlefield Bad Company" feel to it. Sort of like doing the jobs the LN simply can't be bothered to do.
I hope the charactors are similarly mental in relation to the ones on bad company and can't wait to meet one acting like some of em.
Good luck, but you'd probably be best off asking Hale about this being a sub-faction.
Must say kudos to i think it was LNS, lacote or LNS, hornet (they were both there, only fought one, the other was so nice to give us a fair fight) for giving me a fair fight. i realy apreciate that, real sportmanship. thanks
A Psalm out of the outcast history books.
The dons are our shepherds; I shall not want. They make us live with a cause; They lead us trough the still vasts of space. They restore our souls; They lead us in the paths of righteousness For The Orange Dream. Yai, though we fly through the valley of the shadow of death, we will fear no evil; For the Spirits are with us; Your leadership and Your cardamine, they comfort us. You prepare a safe home for us in the presence of our enemies; Surely goodness and mercy shall follow us All the days of our life; And we will dwell in the house of the outcasts Forever
A thank you to whoever flies Independence. You were hella annoying when I fought your laggy boat, but ran into your boat on more friendly circumstances. You then happily helped me in a really odd situation, which I thank you for. Kudos
