I don't recall /droprep ever costing money before. As a tool for helping to get or keep your alignment in place, I was stunned to see about 80% of my hard earned money just vanish as part of the use of that command. Using the /? shows NO warnings about the command having a fee connected to it.

adding rep i can understand a fee... lowering your rep has no abusable qualities, it should not cost money.

It has always cost credits,most of us remember what a pain it was to guard rep a ship befor the droprep command came out.....took me 2 weeks to get my first cruiser sorted out,and 2 trips around Liberty,Bretonia and Kusari..what a pain.
Why? Partly along the idea because something that isn't earned has no value. I'm not sure if I agree with this or not but that is the orginal reason I think.
