This idea is inspired by RP contests like raceing.

I though about how we can improve pvp and possibly RP by useing the "slaves" from malta and from anywhere, to make them into gladiators, this can be done by the less skilled players to be invited to play the role of a gladiator and fight.

the contest can be RPed by the rich and famous to get thier slave gladiator to fight in a match eithere to the death or not, winner takes prise what ever that might be.

you can also hire a skilled player to act as a trainer, he gets the gladiator to fight better.

the starting point for the gladiator would be less advanced fighter, as he fight and winnes battles he gets more and more advanced weapons, armor, credits.

ultimatly this is a way to improve the fighting part of the game, but also RP, as gladiators have to live up to thier roll at some point.

Why define who plays what by judging how skilled the player is? That strikes me as extremely odd...

I like this idea.
It can be good for begginers or guys who just don't find each other in fighters but still want to improve their fighting skills.

this isnt meant as a faction unless you can make it to one, the idea is to interact with indies on RP/PVP level,

basic idea on how to start is "to get a slaver ID and invite an indie to play the role of gladiator with you, to fight.

the contest can be managed by serveral slavers or outcast who got the time and credits to finance this contest, and to get as much spectaters to watch and make bets in this contest.

the contest itself can be run in neutral place like coronado "barrier gate station" people can be also charge a small fee to watch the match.

you can have as many gladiator as you can pay for, thier weapons and ships is payed by the slaver, so the gladiator is just need to fight nothing else.

and to the person who ask why skilled people cant play the gladiator is becouse the match would be over in a sec;) not much fun for the people.

you can how ever get a skilled player to fight as many gladiator, say like 3, this would be in special events, to hire a skilled gladiator to fight.

I like the main idea, but id give it a little twist, within the outcast nation most plantations are run by family's, mine for example is the De Castillo family, you also have herrera, ortega, and so on...

What the twist would be: every family has a fighter representing the familia in battle. it would be a way to improve a family's standing and honour and so on...
