my lan server

i wanna know how to make me own server , i have no idea how to start one and have control of it :S

i want to be able to give myself any ship i want just to muck about and blow ships up

i dunno what files i need, i dont want complicated codes to enter, or to change much settings if can be helped, something really simple to use

i just need an easy prog i can run on me laptop/other comp

downloaded ioncross, have no idea what to do with that
downloaded cannons server file, dunno what to do with that
DSAccountmanager...? 4 files to do what with

as you can see i have no idea

is there just a 1 simple prog that launches a lan server that i can join to and then change ships, guns etc just for my own bit of fun

FLServer.exe. You'll find it in your Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\EXE\ folder. If you want to give yourself any ship, guns, etc., you'll want the Disco Account Manager as well. Be careful though, you can easily break characters/your server with that.
