Yeah that was easyer to check the ID that way!:laugh:I guess the saying "It's hard to see the forest becouse of all the tree's" fits pretty well to that.:P
I dont really mind that certain factions start at certain reputation levels, becouse it does seem more In-RP that way. But I would like to be able to start somewhere else then Liberty, with a whole new set of reputation levels, becouse it does slightly throw off the RP thing that every character start in Liberty. But of course that is slightly hard to do, due to the area levels of enemys. Starting in Rheinland is not really adviced with a Starflier and 8500 creds on hand.
The game would need a major overhaul to be able to support something like that. All new starting areas would have to have their level lowered, ships moved around, and the Starflier would have to get new ship models and "fluff" so that the ship more fits the Faction. But yeah, that would limit the amount of areas with higher level enemys, and of course it would take a huge amount of work to do.
Lol, no problem Sleipner. MS really did put a shortcut to the file you need there. *GASP!*:shok:
@Calistarius, Yes, it would take a lot of work. However, when you activate Disco, there is an option to turn on OpenSP. OpenSP is basically a way to just fly around Sirius and test ships. You can set your starting money 1.9bil (2bil is the limit. Don't go over this limit! Otherwise it resets your cash!) My advice: Check out Sigma-17...

Treewyrm Wrote:all in all the conclusion is that disco doesn't need antagonist factions, it doesn't need phantoms, it doesn't need nomads, it doesn't need coalition and it doesn't need many other things, no AIs, the game is hijacked by morons to confuse the game with their dickwaving generic competition games mixed up with troll-of-the-day.
*nods* Yeah, OpenSP does open up the..SP...:PI have thought about doing that.
Edit:
I have desided to possibly make Calistarius into a Mercenary, with the Mercenary ID (of course:P)
I heard that aperantly Liberty and Rheinland have banned Mercenaries from their space so they are not allowed there. Is this so? And if so what are the rules about it, and are there mroe areas like that?
Next question: As a Mercenary, could I basicly use any ship I want and any weapons I want with out it being to OORP? Of course it would be with in some of the limits in the game. I am looking at wanting to take the BH ship Manta as my first fighter (gathering up cash for it now), I know I read on one or some of the BH ships that they even sold them to people like Mercenaries and simmilar.
