A ship for RPing construction

So, I need a ship suitable for RPing, both ingame and on the forums, the reconstruction and repair of a base.

Some people have suggested the use of Junker vessels, but, Im not sure if there's a way to attain Junker tech, as I have seen no tech request thread for the Junkers.

Can someone give me advice on what ships (Other than a repair ship) would be suitable for the role? Or, alternatively, explain to me if and how it is possible to request Junker technology?

Well, as I said, I dont intend to use the repair ship for this project. It needs to have some dual purpose. I mean, I need a ship that can both function and work for this RP. The repair ship and heavy lifter honestly dont have such function, and the armored transport...well, the character I intend to use this for cant access a base which sells such a ship.

Barge? Though, it would be hard to RP station repair thing, because that thing is station sized... But it would fit the role for creating/repairing ships.

While a Junker ship would be ideal, I only think we could attain a CSF, realistically...if the Junkers even accept tech requests. Do you know anything about that?

Well there is possibility of junkers selling you CSF. As for salvager they never gave one to my knowledge.

Also if it involves more people, group of freighters always looks cool.
