YO!
So, let me tell ya'll a story about how a cool cat came around this town(-like community).
I was flexin' all over offline, finally beat it after not really trying sporadically over my wimpy teenage years, hit up the Eagle and blasted the Corsairs like their mother didn't even know. Figured, hey, I'm at the end of the line, why not jump onto that RolePlaying server? RolePlaying isn't something, y'know, I kinda do here and there. RolePlaying is what I am, yo. I reckon it'd be nice, since I'm a huge buff around mid/late twentieth century space age vintage stuff. Onto the actual story. . .
So, I was chillaxing, listening to my cosmic-disco music, blasting NPC's to smithereens. . .
Then I suddenly stop. I realize I'm wasting my critical years that will count towards my future success on the predictable and wish-washed. If only Microsoft hadn't cut it so short. . .
Anyway, I thought at this moment,
'Hm, I wonder if that community of Freelancer addicts are still around. A little snooty bunch, kinda feel bad for 'em, but I reckon pretty durable. I mean, look at the community STILL playing Space Empire! It's crazy cool. . .
Well, can't go wrong with crazy old-indie fandom!'
And then pop, I downloaded the Discovery mod without reading the rules first, because I'm a rebel, then I looked around, made my account, read the rules last second (as well as the helpful clarification Agmen put up), skipped over all the stuff I don't have to worry about (like making second accounts. I might not have a life, but it's not like if I had another I'd give it up again!), wrote this in five minutes, found some imba picture, and then put down some Youtube links to the songs I was listening while playing offline.
So, Discovery. Let me ask you. ARE YOU READY?
Can you handle my crazy-cool character development? How about my future-imbued street slang/thieves cant? When are you gonna get sick of my overconfident attitude? My obsession over space-based vintage culture? What about my crazy-cool-cat attitude that's way too informal and loose for our first date? . . .Yeah, this is a date. You can call it what you want, but baby, you can't hide it. We're feeling a connection, strong, strong vibes. We should cut the small talk. Put that thing into autopilot and lets manually enable evasive maneuvering. It's time to get funky, Discovery!
Yeah, I already started off on the server a few days ago (validation took a while), so I already have a Hammerhead. My only character is level 31, but I have 235 kills, so I think I'm good. I could easily trade for millions and billions of credits, but that's just too easy. I'd rather sharpen my shooting skills before hunkering down with anyone, and it really seems like trading or mining is the primary profession. It's been kind of lonely, sitting at Sheffield Station, hunting Lane Hackers and all, but yeah. . .
Anyway, I can't seem to get onto the Disco Help Channel. Apparently Tazuras isn't ever on for the last three or five days, or I just don't know how to work Skype. Any alternate routes/help?

I'm afraid I might; Reggie, while I would love to say OOCly, accidently killed a Junker or did something else to piss them off. It's entirely in-character that he'd be BFF's with them, but it's really something I need to fix up. Otherwise, I've been trying to find an Angel to maybe help me with my discovery chat help (I primarily want to go there to substitute for my lack of teamspeak/ventrilo and also to penetrate myself into a few social bubbles) but it's kind of hard when they're not around. I did see one, and he said hi to me, but I was tabbed out. Anyway, thanks ya'll, but I know the community can do better then that. . .GIMME SOME LOVE, YA'LL!
Welcome abroad. If you ever feel like joining the best trading faction there is around that makes the most cash while keeping to roleplayish shipping, contact IC| tagged guys in game or me. Though recruitment will be opened only on 16th of this month, having decision before that is not bad.
Or if you wish to blast and earn money - join BHG|. They have toasted by plasma cookies
[color=#FFFFFF]Drinks are at the bar to your left and toilets are to your right. In case of any harassment talk to the security guard at the entrance.
Enjoy dancing your life away!
I'd like to bottle your enthusiasm and infect Discovery with it.
Read the bit of the bio you already posted. Good stuff. Gore and intimacy shouldn't be too much of a problem really. Just rate it Arrrrrr or something. Keeps the local kiddies in their bubbles and the mods happy. Usually.
Anyway, if you need any hints/explanations/stuff, feel free to ask away in here. People usually learn by joining a faction, but I'd advise RPing Reggie while he's still interesting to you because factions tend to get a bit stale sometimes, that's what you get for shooting the same people for extended periods of time.
Oh, and shooting npcs won't do your PvP skills any good.:P

try hunting xenos in colorado, you'll be neutral with junkers before you know it.
