Movie effects and stuff (help plz)

Greetings lads and gentlepeople.

I'm looking for a programm which allows me to edit videos.

not cutting and stuff... thats np for me.

more like... setting "photoshop'ish" effects on the videos to make them look more sharp and colorful for example.

or to make it darker and stuff...

for example like this edited ingamescreen i made:

(ye there are a few more filters on it + backround is cut out. but i hope you got the point)

most likely a free one of course but if they cost money also feel free to tell me about.

I suggest you play around with it, edit a small video to see the effects and so on ... it's one of the best ways to learn a program;)Good luck:)

The best in AE is that it's part of the CS package, so you will find many functions similar (if not identical) to Photoshop. Just since every effects and their attributes are keyframeable and appears on a timeline it's easy to get lost in it.
