The Brotherhood doesn't use Nomad weaponry, as we've had several people we had to put down because the guns started to make them act erratically. Even if they are adapted for use on human vessels, the technology is still the same, and still has connections to the Nomadic "hivemind."
We can't control other factions, of course. Especially the LSF. Heed my words, the Brotherhood destroys Nomads, we don't use them. Those who seek to control the devil loses control themselves.

I am a firm believer in keeping everything in good RP. However, as I have said before, I think it starts to get a bit ticky-tacky when we start judging someones RP based on the weapons they choose to use. And please dont start with the "US Army wouldnt use Iraqi weapons" arguement. First off this aint 2008 or the US Army, and second, if they were better weapons than the US weapons... you bet your arse they would.

factions involved with nomads: corsairs ( delta, gamma ), outcasts ( alpha ), zoners ( delta, kappa ), order ( major, minor, alaska, delta ), BHG ( delta, alpha, gamma, alaska ), liberty navy ( alaska ), rheinland military ( the wild at NB JH ), GMG ( sigma-13, they offer tasks against the wild ), ALG ( same like GMG, they offer tasks agains the wild )
all those can and maybe would use them. or in other terms - their NPC factions are involved with the nomads one way or another. the factions above have reason to use those weapons, if it turns out that they are better. - however, concerning the official house factions - its rather up to what a superior allows to be used. zoner could use them, but for what purpose, corsairs are convinced that their weapons are better ( - and they are sort of correct ), outcasts - well, they KNOW their weapons beat nomad weapons, order might not like to use them. their weaponry was specificly designed to counter nomads, their only real enemy, so no need there. BHG may use them, but nomad weapons don t match their weapons - besides, BHG weapons are good enough, so they d rather sell them. GMG may use them on escorts - i see no prob there. ALG the same...

Well we in Z21 are trying different things with nomad technology and if everything works well, we put the nomad technology (canons,blasters) on our ships.;)

And sorry for OORP but he asked about my setup on system chat and I had to answer. Well I promise it wont happen again. I use everytime RP on system chat.
RHA have certain weaponry protocol that we have to stick to.

LSF could have restrictions like that too. 2 Nomads per ship max sounds pretty fair.
Battleships appearantly would work under different schematics.
If a VHF LSF ship is to have 2 Nomads, while 6 slots on the whole its 33 percent of the slots used. That way we could calculate Battleships loadout automatically. For example if BS has 20 slots, there could be 6 Nomad weapons.
However, I strongly suggest to make Battleships as much as RP-ish as possible. In my opinion, a Bretonian battleship should stick to Bretonian equipment and weaponry only.

sorry but if you wasnt happy about your setup being public knowledge you wouldent of said what it was and if anyone did post my ship setup i really would not mind, people can find out what it is anyway by scanning me as they could do to your ship
please note that this isnt an attack of any sort its just a question i had and wanted to know the answer which seems to be a mix :blink:
