When I alt-tab during my trading, the game things I'm still at the point BEFORE I alt-tab, meaning it screws up my waypoint route.
This can be annoying, am I the only one seeing this? This has not happened to be before I was trading many months ago.
E.G. You take a trade land from New Tokyo to Shikoku, you alt-tab as you're docking with the trade lane. You alt-tab back and find yourself near the gate, yet the waypoint bug out and want you to go to the gate prior to alt-tabbing, but show ONLY as a normal target, not a WAYPOINT target.#
I'll admit, I got lost and confused in my drunken state in Sigma earlier... Relying too much on the waypoints... Alt-tabbing for some bizarre reason alters the waypoints.
Yup, see this all the time. It only updates waypoints when it has focus, just like the visuals. I usually just deal with it by going to the next waypoint, and it'll clear all waypoints behind that one.
Actually, here's a fun fact: when it decides to clear a waypoint (or at least, the final one), it doesn't go by system, just coordinate. So if you pass by the coordinates of your final destination in any system, even if it's not the right system, it'll decide you arrived and clear the path. Try it yourself: From Dortmund in New Berlin, set a "best path" route to Narita in New Tokyo. Then, take the lane to Planet New Berlin. The path will get cleared halfway.
