After some time I have decided to install Freelancer again and to play it on line. Considering this everything went fine: installation went smoothly, mod manager is installed, game works, everything is perfect.
Now the problems starts.
When I go to multiplayer I see list of all servers, I set the filter to see only those who are compatible to the game that I have installed and pick one.
On every server that I pick I have to create a new character 'cause I haven't played it so for on line. Problem is whatever name I put for my new character I get the message that name is taken and to try with other one. I have tried with bunch of character names (those who make sense and those who not) and it's impossible that all are taken.
Any suggestions how to solve this?
Thanks!

If you want to create one on discovery 24/7, then keep trying. We have a lot of players, thus a lot names are taken.

If you can see non discovery servers then your mod is not installed correctly. See http://discoverygc.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=44642

I log into the discovery server and try to create a new character and I get the same error that "That name is already taken" There is no way that not all the names like this Redheartwolf1234556678 could be taken. I spent over an hour trying to create a new character. Anyone have any ideas?

Thank you.

Your mod is not installed properly. See http://discoverygc.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=44642

Make sure you've downloaded the full mod not just the update.

Ok I have done a fresh install of freelancer and the flmm. I download the full mod and double clicked it but it stops responding every time I try to run it. Is this normal and should I just let it sit there?
