I tried to get one on a Starflier just for the hell of it.

Admins denied it (barely, as I was told), said they weren't giving out anymore. That was over a year ago. I don't believe anyone who had one still has it, they were rare to start and I think they all stopped playing.

Well, for the Emperor, I asked for it for several reasons, first was that the other option for ID was a KNF ID, which doesn't fit since the Emperor is not a part of the KNF, and it's important to me that he be independent from Kusari factions. Second, because the Emperor is not a part of the KNF play faction, from a rules standpoint a trader could walk up to the Emperor and insult him and his ship without the most powerful person in Kusari being able to do anything about it. Not to get into the request too specifically, the Spec Ops ID allows the Emperor to act the same way a KNF player faction battleship would be able to.

The thread was about Terrorist IDs first Zelot, the OP changed the title. As far as Spec OP IDs go, they're still around, AFAIK the most common usage is to get a ship-type that's not allowed with the current ID, such as a faction with a generic ID getting a battleship.

Since SRPs are closed, good luck getting one.
