Now Ageira Tech says to avoid them for hazard reasons which range from your
ship being put into a large radioactive field or just blowing up to a bagillion pieces
but thats not what I came here to talk about.
How exactly are Jump Holes classified? are they considered as worm holes or
miniature black holes that for some reason we're inclined to fly into instead of
avoid? If a worm hole, wouldn't that still be classified as a black hole almost?
Do black holes have another side? Thus also being considered a worm hole.
Because worm holes can emit radiation just like a black hole, I assume.
Im thinking lets say my ship got stuck in a black hole's pull, to attempt to
escape death instead of going away from the pull of it what would happen if
you go into it. Division by Zero
A jumpgate is a stabilised worm hole, that connects to a certain spot.
a Jumphole is the natural form of the wormhole and might collapse
but because this is a game that doesn't change connections between JH's
or can make them collapse, they are as stable as JG's.

I think I gonna spend some time looking at relevant rumors, but at least we can discard the Ageira and DSE official statements concerning Jump Holes as propaganda from corporations that decided to play god and artifically create the ways through space - and paid for that at least once in Texas.
Well, Jump Holes in Freelacer are the copy of the ones in Privateer and Wing Commander, as well as imitating the warp drive from Starlancer most probably, so we can assume that they are that dangerous.
In other words, modern navigation technology nullifies the risks of travelling through them, I'd say, though, they are still gorgeous and terrifying.
Black hole: Something we are certain that exists in RL. Caused by the 'death' of supergiant stars. Look it up on Wikipedia or Google it if you want more info. Alternatively, I will PM you a compact explanation if you so desire.
A black hole is a gravitational singularity. Essentially, there is a 'point' towards which massive gravitational force pulls. Getting caught by a black hole would have your ship being annihilated by the sheer force. This would occur regardless of direction travelled - approaching or attempting to flee the singularity would destroy you. You cannot escape from a Black Hole.
Wormhole: The thing that is the 'gap' or 'bridge' between two points in space. When travelling by Jump Holes or Gates, you are considered to be travelling through a wormhole.
Jump Hole: The name for the naturally-occuring phenomena which create wormholes across the Sirius Sector.
Jump Gate: A device which creates an artificial wormhole that behaves very similarly to a Jump Hole.

Flying through Jump Holes in Sirius: As demonstrated in Vanilla Single Player, it's usually a bit dangerous, as you don't know how stable the hole is.

I still tend to believe that the majority of holes are stable. You see, the only unstable hole in vanilla was the one in the Omicrons and the Omicrons themselves are the weird part of space where odd things happen. They still contain the Black Hole and the unstable jumphole which is looped and returns stranger to his original location.
In addition, I'm pretty sure that the collapse of the Jump Hole to that Omicron system with Nomad Hive was launched manually to stop the Order from stealing the Power Cell - at least it makes more sense than SUDDENLY collapsing Hole to a system with THAT important object.
