Greetings Miss Vii,
I hope you can remember me, we met on planet Leeds. You were having a few problem with the authorities there, so I was hoping that you're still interested in our research. Unfortunately Alexander had an accident, and he's not able to join us, but we need a Xenobiologist on our study in the Baffin system. We have received a job to study the Goddess Geode, and the small "proto-nomad" organisms which inhabit the system and the geode. Unfortunately the two biologists on the ship are Botanists, so we don't have the adequate personell to carry out the mission properly.
I would like you to join us at least on this research. If you have any questions, please contact me.
Roy out.

[font=Book Antiqua][color=#CC9933]Hearing from you is a good surprise, mister Khan; we somehow hadn't contacted since the last time for a while - but I wanted it to be more than an accidental consolation and here I am.
Xenobiology is not my precise specialization, but I worked on some projects related to Planetform requests for altering the features of some bacteria colonies they used, so I more or less understand the area. If you'll accept me not talking in latin about every proleg and whatever, I'll be at the rendezvous point once in no time.
Talking more specifically, I can appoint myself to this research only in case the funding will be sufficent to cover the current interest rate of my current credits; you should understand me, independent science is not a generally profitable area without proper subsidies and my personal financial issues don't allow me to take on any research that doesn't guarantee the outcome anytime soon.

Believe me, I know what you're speaking about, as I and my crew of course worked for a very long time as independent scientists. The project itself has a very good pay, and the remaining costs are paid by the CSR.
As for the latin... I think only 5 of my men speaks that old language. I prefer saying words everyone can understand, if you know what am I speaking of.
So, all in all welcome in the team. We're still preparing for the route, so I would appreciate if you could join us at Cambridge.
We're waiting for you! Roy out.

[font=Book Antiqua][color=#CC9933]I recommend you to subscribe for organic chemistry or biology lections here on Cambridge then - you'll see that it's much easier to learn some basics of it than to suffer with the every name and reference. Talking of the work, we had to move the lab to the ship to reduce the rental costs to service in a spaceport, so I'll be ready to move out.
Talking of the research on alien materials, Christian Bowson is giving a lecture this thursday, you know him, right? He worked with Professor Quintaine in the late 790th - right before the professor dissapeared. I can organise an entrance for our small party, a friend of mine was preparing the whole event.
Tell me if you are in and it would be a descent reason to meet again in person.

It would be an honor. It would be really good, before a so important mission and I think some of my crew would be interested in meeting such a famous person.
Eventually the ship is still not prepared for the trip, so we have a few days and I would like to do something interesting.
Please tell me when and where to go, and I'll be there.
