near the lane the LRI reasearcher took, three unknown ships cut the lane and the ship is thrown from the lane, the three ships near the LRI ship, one of the larger ships EMP the reactor of the LRI and kill its power to criple it,

once cripled and unable to move, one of the ship's logo's are noticeable, tagged BoS pilots, the ships countinue to open fire on the LRI ship to the point of hull damage being critical, the BoS pilots leave the horrible damaged ship alone, this attack hopefully sent an message to the LRI,

the three ships from a far distance, charge an SNAC cannon, a timer activtes on all the screens on the LRI ship, a count down to fire the SNAC.

Suddenly, all sensors and scanners on the BoS ships are filled with noise; unable to detect them, they cannot see the 11 small contacts approaching from every direction.

The smaller drones swarm around the BoS ships, emitting EM pulses and constantly occupying the line of fire between the SNAC cannon and the LRI ship; in the meantime, the bigger drone approaches the researcher ship and sprays nanobots on the hull and engines, repairing the more critical damages and allowing it to engage its propulsion.

//OORP: just in case someone needs an explanation, as it can be seen from the last post in this thread, Cerberus was keeping the LRI under surveillance; also, on this thread it's shown how the Cerberus drones already detected the infected BoS ships in the past, based on the data and reports transmitted by the LRI. Regardless of these ships being infected or not at the moment, the drones are not true AIs, they act upon predefined instructions; due to the past events concerning BoS, the drones have been instructed to consider all hostile BoS as infected.
