I have just recently joined the Farmer's Alliance, and today I decided to get a taste for Pirating....
Usual hailing goes like this:
Me: "Hail [insert name here]." (Or as close to the name as I can get, might have some Typos)
Me: "You owe tax to the Farmers of Kyushu."
Me: "One Million Credits"
Most of the time I Pirate at places like the Jump Gate from New Tokyo to Kyushu, or in the center of a trade lane route.
I have gotten a couple of complaints today about being out of RP (and apparently farmers don't go anything for anyone....), so as a semi-new player, I'm asking, am I in the wrong here?
Edit: I also try to avoid pirating anyone the Alliance is friendly with, like Samura or the Zoners.
Edit 2: Usually afterwards I say the following depending on what they did:
Payed:
Me: "Your Donation is gratefully accepted."
Me: "You Alliance gives you its blessings"
Not Paying:
Me: "You were given full opportunity to cooperate"
[8:32:45 PM] Dusty Lens: Oh no, let me get that. Hello? Oh it's my grandma. She says to be roleplay.
[12:49:19 AM] Elgatodiablo: You know its nice that you have all that proof and all, Bacon... but I just don't believe you.
No, you are not wrong. It is good for a start of conversation, and can be developed, if a Trader is willing.
I usually only get a Trade request, they don't even bother to answer in plain words.
As for being in New Tokyo, again, you'r not wrong.
Especially if you are disrupting the Trade Lanes. It's nice to see that for a change.

Traders will always complain about pirates. Learn and KNOW your factions RP and goals and then ignore anyone who is whining about either.
Just make sure that the lawfuls who should be shooting at you are. Nothing irks me more then seeing unlawful pirates sitting there not being shot at... *snarls.
Well, as Farmer's Aliance the lawfuls don' really take opposition to our actions through our connections in the Samura and Hogosha. This is mainly why I don't Pirate bases (anymore) because it doesn't look right (and a helpful Junker helped me realize it wasn't really right -If you read this thanks! :$). So, basically, due to the bribes in place we're safe with the house militaries until we start yelling at the Cruisers to hand over their H-Fuel .

Or unless you try to pirate near them.
A tip, don't Pirate if a KNF chump is in the same system as you.
He won't care about your connections in Samura, trust me.
I don't think any of them would care, actually.
It's in their roleplay to prevent pirating, so, be careful.

Ya, I figured if a KNF was around he wouldn't give a hoot who I had connections with, and I'm trying to stay out of the NovaPG and GC's way as well. The FA doesn't sit well with either of them just as it wouldn't sit with the KNF if I pirated someone in their face....

I met you today and I have to say you seemed to be doing just fine, although I wasn't in my Train so our meeting wasn'the usual Pirate/Trader interaction. As people have said ignore them if they start whining.
Saint Del is considered a holy healer of diseases of children, but also as a protector of cattle.
nothing seems wrong with what you are saying. It's already better than a lot of pirates I know.
Now, if they are complaining in rp, thats quite normal. no trader likes to be pirated =P
