We could see about IDF running a freighter or two.
My main reason for leaving out the corporations (and as GMS' suckered-into-it leader again it pained me to do such) was just to keep the sides from becoming too unbalanced in favor of the the Lawfuls. If the unlawfuls seem to be outnumbering, then I'd be happy to say yes.
In the meantime, unless the Unlawfuls say they don't mind, I'm going to leave the corps off the list and think about it some. InRP, I wouldn't exactly expect the corps to have quick response teams, but for the sake of playerbase, the more participants the better.
On the other hand, there's always the option to create independents for the participating groups. I understand what it would mean to have the face of IDF there, though, and flying a bunch of independents isn't quite the same as representing your own faction.
Ivan pointed out a simple and elegant solution, Error. I'm going to put it into effect. Merge the Brigands with the Unlawful Forces and add the Gallic Corporations to the Lawful Forces.
Each side will need to group up and work together on who's going to be flying freighters, because I assume each side will want two or three depending on what sort of playerbase we get, but that opens it up to the Corps and then solves some sticky diplomacy issues between the Council and Brigands that was pointed out to me and was going to have to be overlooked.
I'll edit the OP to reflect this change shortly.
Edit: Changes made, OP and roster is up to date.
Also, Denelo pointed out to me that he hosted a nearly identical event to this a few months back, with the writeup and roster even being structured similarly. I hadn't even seen the event thread until he linked me, but I'm sorry for not having done my research before I posted the event. I knew it wasn't an entirely original idea, as the theory behind it was very loosely based off of an event I'd participated in on the Freeworlds main server and overhauled for use on ours, but the writeup is indeed an entirely original work, assembled without any reference material.
