Guten Tag meine Damen und Herren,
We have an important thing to ask.
First, we are a small Weapon Company mainly working on defense systems and scanners.
We are not really rich. We survived most of the time with little scanner devices for Mining and Trading Companies.
Ja, we applied already on your Bounty Board with Balaur a BHG Battlecruiser.
The problem.
That is not our Cruiser, we have only a contract with the Captain about sharing bounties and testing some little devices.
So now to our question and request.
It looks a bit ridiculous but, we need one of the IMG Cruisers for testing our new scanner and defense systems on our own.
Not much.
Yes you will say maybe, why we should give the Industries one of our finest pieces.
We can offer something for it.
First:
Sharing any Research, Recon and Technology from our test and more.
Second:
We will pay everything on our own.
and before you say we can't trust, we will make a contract.

Gentlemen,
I see several potential issues with your request:
Quote:NUMBER-1: This ship will run under IMG Guard Identification Papers and always.
The whole Cruiser will equip with beacons.
Seeing as you will -not- be a member of the Independent Miners Guild, but are an independent research company, granting this would be fraudulent use of the Sirian identification systems, possibly in violation of the Sirius Codex. This is reason enough alone, to deny your request.
Quote:NUMBER-2: This ship will never enter any House Core System, Sigmas and Alpha, except: Dublin and only for the defense or support against Criminals.
Using a research ship for defensive purposes is a contradiction of the nature of your request.
Now, that being said, if you have specific tests you wish to run in a controlled environment, the Guild may be able to assist. However, I want any such tests to be confined to the Tau 37 system, in the southwest quadrant of the system. No offense, but using experimental weapons technology around Sirius as a whole is not something I want the Guild to become associated with, or we'll have every Navy in Sirius snooping around. For live fire targets you will likely have no shortage of Outcast forces within Tau 37, ranging from target practise to overwhelming forces. At present the Tau situation is precarious, our capital vessels are needed there.
Regards,
- Johnathan Sanders, on behalf of the Independent Miners Guild
Ps. The Argus as a combat platform has sub-par performance. Most of these vessels are reduced to a defensive role.

First:
We want to test defense systems and not research more Weapons.
Scanner Technology, new Energy Cores etc.
Mining Lasers.
Mainly for research to discovery new planets, fields etc.
And one of our points, we will act only in self defense.
By the way, why you say Sirians?
We are not from Gallia, we are a mixed company with people from every colony except Gallia.
and nein we have no Outcasts or something like that in our company.
Second, did we say something about to begin war?
Defense Purpose?
We would like use the ship as a Research Ship and not like a Dreadnought.
and third.
Tau-37, without exception is bad place to test something.
Oh and testing Scanner Systems in one system wouldn't work, because we need to test in other environments.
So, We know you would say buy an civilian vessel like the Kusari Explorer.
It wouldn't work, too small and it is not really our goal to fit systems for Gunboat-Class Vessels.
To try it with Zoner Vessels that is really a bad idea.
The Zoner don't need this really.
If you want research new kind of weapons with us and help us. Then we will need one of those vessel anyway. And we would be agree with only Tau Systems and co. The Battlecruiser would then help with the new systems against the Outcasts.

- Johnathan Sanders, on behalf of the Independent Miners Guild

Gentlemen,
Well, the verdict is in. As long as you keep to the constraints the Guild has placed on operating a vessel of this size, we see no issue with your science team conducting experiments. We'd welcome any findings you can share, especially in regards to sensor fidelity improvements and interstellar drive technology. The conventional kind.
I would request however, that you keep your vessel out of the core House systems, unless you get an explicit permit by the local authorities. This includes, for instance, Dublin. The Houses often consider the presence of a foreign cruiser class vessel inside their systems, even by passing through, an infringement on their sovereignty. While the Argus is capable of defending itself from the odd attacker, it is not a vessel that can operate in a combat situation effectively without support. It simply lacks the mobility required.

// As Doc Holiday said - if you operate it under IMG Guard, you don't need our permission, but you do need to stick to the limits of the IMG Guard ID.

Note: Nimbus is already tested on the other ships. So, that is no weapons experiment.
Core:
A Normal XT-11 Energy Core.
Scanner System:
Testing Currently, "Scharf" translated, sharp.
Better and faster, new kind of planet scanner technology for finding resources faster, better, and deeper.
Engines:
"Sturmwind" X1-23 T, Easy to repair, new cooling systems, don't need fuel in normal cruise.
Sun Energy.
and we test some other things.
A new computer system for faster control and to keep the crew number low.

Gentlemen,
That's quite the list of modifications. An XT-11 core doesn't provide as much output as the usual oversized BR-CPC12 we normally use on the ship, but given you seem to be focusing on energy efficiency...
I recommend you trial your scanners in the Coronado system, there are several moons there which could do with a thorough survey, and a number of them have existing findings on record. There is also a terrestrial planet and a gas giant in the system, so it'll give you a good variety of sources. Just be aware to let the Zoners in Baffin know you seek passage - they tend to frown on huge ships arriving unannounced.
You say the engine modifications require no fuel in cruise, being powered by solar panels? Surely that's an exhagerration - I can understand that letting the ship run largely on inertia would largely negate the need for continuous fuel usage, but relying solely on solar power for the need to overcome the slight inertial drag of space debris and solar wind would not work so well in the dense asteroid fields that make up most of our homes. It would not work so well for nebulas either - no solar energy to be had there, usually.

Guten Tag meine Herren und Damen, the Aigaion is back from his journey with many data and some information.
First, we have to say danke for this. Second we found some interesting things in Coronado, our little System outside of Liberty Space.
[color=#33FF33]We begin with planet number-1 on our list.
Planet-Yuma
Not much to say. DSE has a liner in the orbit for researching the Planet and maybe colonization.
Number-2
Planet-Jericho
Our first planet and most difficult one because the interference is really strong and dangerous.
We found aluminum and copper, but we couldn't locate it exactly.
Number-3
Planet-Salina
Only found the asteroids with water.
Number-4
Planet-Oraibi
We found the exact locations of the resources. Most of them are near the surface, but still the atmosphere is hard and full with poison gas.
Number-5
Planet-Socorro
The surface is really hot, with around 300 degree Celsius. For our taste too hot and maybe not worth for mining.
Number-6
Planet-Tova
Found the exact locations of the resource, was not hard.
The last.
Planet-Baja
We launched some drones and found the locations of the resources.
The good news, it is easy to build a base there.
Oh and this.
DSE everywhere.
[color=#FF0000]Review for our Scanner System:
Works better than the rest of the scanners. We had only one problem and this was Jericho with the interference and radiation. And one time, a DSE patrol tried to scan our ship, but we disappeared in the interference from Planet Jericho.
Aigaion is back now in Tau-23 for the defense of Java. We will refit it with the right guns and systems.
