I just downloaded version 4,85 on ModDB, and when I double click on the file to unzip it with FLMM, it starts unzipping but stops at some point saying that access to ".../BIN/content.dll" is denied - File Might Be Corrupt.
Then it stops and come back to desktop.
I tried unzipping the mod with WinRar, and placing the folder in FLMM mods folder, but when I try to activate the mod, it crashes also.
I use FLMM 1.31, and the file from ModDB. Is the file corrupted or is it just me?
It's a permissions error, it's denying you access to the dll. It used to be worse, pretended it had done it and hadn't, at least you know it's not working properly.
Disable User Account Control or install into your Documents folder.
If you're using Windows Vista or Windows 7, just right click on your FLMM shortcut, go to the compatibility tab, and tell FLMM to always run as an administrator. This should solve any current and future problems regarding lack of permissions in FLMM. Now you can try unzipping the file again.

Who cares (In a non-offensive way)? I bet .86 will come out within the next 8 weeks. With all of my imaginery money + whatever is in my pocket. Anyone in for this action? .86 will bring all new installation problems! Instead of the ones we've had for eternity! Joy!
P.S. I will use this post to rub all of your faces with when it does come out. Muahahaha. Love from ThePinkSpartan
Been a while, but if my memory isn't being dishonest, I had that message when the file was cut off mid-download. Download it again, and make sure you get the whole thing.

This.
And for the record, disabling UAC doesn't fix it. Had the problem before with UAC off, only option is to run as admin (even if you *are* the admin. Yes, I know it doesn't make any sense).
