Konnichiwa and Good Morning,
One of our traders has informed the Office of Trade that the GMG's license to move Light Arms from New Berlin has been revoked.
The Guild understands that a general revocation order was given on 27/8. However it was our understanding that the GMG was still on the list of exempted parties to move Light Arms. Upon inspection of the list of shipping agents - we see that we have indeed be removed from this list.
Quote:Article eight: Temporary regulations
§1. Due to the war with Liberty, shipping military vehicles and light arms is restricted to the following shipping agents:
QUOTE
Republican Shipping
Daumann Heavy Construction
Samura Industries
Kishiro Technologies
Kruger Minerals
ALG Waste Disposal
[Convoy]
§2. Diversion from the above restrictions is a criminal offense and is punishable with cargo confiscation, field execution should be applied if intent to resist is shown by the violating party.
As you may be aware, the GMG is currently under blockade enforced by the Kusari Government. The Guild takes great risks to ensure that our fuel reaches Rhineland. We have found it an essential component of our trade relations with Rhineland to return with Light Arms to keep our facilities in Okinawa secure.
The Guild is seeking an assurance from the Bundestag this is simply a misunderstanding, and that the GMG shall be returned to the list of exempted shipping agents as soon as possible. ***END TRANSMISSION***
Karl Nimeroler, Hamburg Bundestag representative, Minister of Trade
Recipient: Office of Trade CEO, Planet Miura, Gas Miners Guild
Sehr geehrter Trade CEO,
The Bundestag apologizes profusely for the oversight. Your permission to trade Light Arms will be restored as soon as I can find a law clerk to file the necessary changes. The caveat is, of course, if you take them to Liberty, your ship, lives, and permissions may be forfeit. But I trust that will not become an issue.
Karl Nimeroler,
Hamburg Bundestag representative
Minister of Trade
Rest assured the GMG only imports Light Arms for its own security in Okinawa, not that of other Houses.
Guild pilots shall be instructed not to ship Light Arms until our status is properly reflected in the Laws of Rhineland. This should prevent any incidents resulting from misunderstandings.
