A little girl ran through the narrow road heading around the townhouse. Evening glow let the stars fill the eastern part of the sky while coloring the crowns and the rooftops on the opposing side and muffling itself into the fleecy clouds whisked into gorgeous cloud-castles. A subtle woman in her twenties sat on the balcony dangling her legs in the air and watching the stars lit up like she always did in this time with book or the notepad on the touchscreen situated on her laps and used to make some notes full of randomness when they came to her mind. She noticed the girl, Chou-chan, the daughter of the family living there on the first floor, and stooped to wave.
Now she was invited for a dinner with them. Hayakawa family lived there for a while before she moved to Shirakawa; the nicest people she knew that took care of her like she was a long lost daughter for them. Isamu and Saki, his wife, sharing the home for over ten years, could appear to be the couple of of deities keeping the family hearth, secretly living on the outskirts of the megalopolis.
She still had time to continue her everyday stalking of the celestial bodies today. Lyra and Aquila tried to slip off in the gap between yesterday and tomorrow each time and today wasn't the exception. But in this static night snowfall something was hidden for Alex, something that gave that star spotting a special appeal. She couldn't explain that, something deep in her unconscious, she just came to the same place every time.
