Many people shoot others to get their attention. If I ever shoot someone in NY I say sorry then give them however much money they lost because of me. Even if it were a whole train full of Artifacts I would pay him for accidently killing him. (though I think it would be hard to accidently kill a train...)
Kiggles and Jamez: Drop it. Shooting people in NY is forbidden, as you know by the SERVER CONSOLE messages that continualy pop up. Jamez was at fault for shooting him. If you get attacked by a player, are you looking at your shield bar? No, I didn't think so! Your looking for the guy shooting you so you can shoot back!
Plus, it is not Missingno.'s fault if his weapons are "overpowered" for your little CSV with Justice MK1s and no armor upgrades. It's not like you have to click to keep firing here either; just hold down the fire key untill your target is dead, that's how I live and how bunches of others do to.
Missingno. : Also, drop it. He shot you, you shot back, end of story. A clear case of self-defence if I ever heard one. The fact that it was only a pair of Justice MK1s on a CSV or Starflier or whatever dosn't matter. In real life, if you pull a black watergun on a police officer, he's going to shoot you. The fact that it's only a water gun does not matter.
Your honnor, the defence rests.
This is the real true story of rock and roll; it was not about anything more then, how to live your life, as a gangster, in sartorial splendor, and turning the world into a place where normality would never return again...- Malcolm McLaren
I have to agree with Kane there, and as far as it taking 2 shots to kill some one that is not entirly true it depends on the projectile speed of your weapons. if your weapons have varying projectile speeds, the first rounds to hit will kill the shields and the second rounds to hit will destroy the hull, espeacialy if you are using class ten weapons against a csv, hell I kill Hammerheads in one shot all the time with my gunboat and I have one nomad energy canon, one gunboat defense turrtet, and 4 battleship missle turrets, and hammerheads almost always die in one volley, sometimes titans die in one shot, so it is entirly possible for him to kill a csv in one shot with the weapons he has, depending on the projectile speads, and range, (you need range to give the projectiles time to spread, such as one weapon has a spead of 700 m/ms and the second weapon has a speed 600 m/ms at 700 meters the wepons will have spread far enough apart they would clearly land in two hits instead of one, even if fired at the same time
my characters
{TG}_Telthose: slipstream, cocky lil guy who likes fast ships and enjoys hanging out with GC in Kusari (he has a thing for dangerous women)
{TG}Telthose_Trader: Tranport, a cargo carrier that likes making money the easy way (has a habit of bribing everyone so he doesn't have to fight his way from system to system, and it is rumored that he moonlights by smugling)
{TG}Thunder: liberty gunboat with battleship missle turrets (I think he is trying to over compansate for something with the size of those guns lol)
I also agree with kane. this argument is silly and absolutely pointless. Jamez, if you fire at someone, they have every right to kill the person attacking them. and there is no such thing as "overpowered weapons" you attacked him in the first place and maybe you should have thought twice about it before you go all rambo on people. DEAL WITH IT. ia also dont want to have to put up with all of the squabbling on this thread. it is very annoying and is not what forums are supposed to be used for,

Ummm we are supposed to post about F1 use and violations of rules on here and provide screenshots. This is a use of the forums, and it is supposed to be.

yes, i am fully aware that the forums are used for those purposes. but when someone does post about a violations, it always turns into full-blown arguments and bickering, and noone agrees on anything and who did what and so on.
It has now been a week almost since the event, and last night the very same members of TC, and SF helped to prevent an attack from what would appear to be a common foe (not named for diplomatical reasons). This has shown me that there is absoloubtly no need for this thread to continue anymore, the two concerned have moved past it, and although aligned as enemies can still as always work for the common good. If this is the case, as I see it clearly is, there is no need for this thread to be continued.
