Hello there. My name is Cameram... ah, whatever. I think most of you already know me. And I'm sure that minority of the community know me as the filmmaker (in progress).
I just wanted to present my new project I'm working at the moment. It's a short film, called 'Safe Zone' (original: "Saugioji Zona). It's still in early phase, however, once I'll rise from illness, I'll start the shooting works.
Here's a small plot summary:
Quote:"Three months after the global virus breakout, which turns all the carriers into cannibalistic creatures, have passed. The survivor girl, named Ruth ('Rūta') is in search of the 'mythical' place, called the Safe Zone, the military project, which is supposed to be a virus-free settlement, to make sure that the uninfected people will survive until winter. However, during the chaos the news and information about the true location of the Zone disappears. Ruth will meet other survivors and realize the awful truth about the Zone."
The film will be filmed in Lithuanian (English subs, or even dub added).
The approx. length of the film - 20 minutes.
The project currently encounters 'some' financial problems. So we're trying all kinds of alternative filmmaking ways to avoid the conflict with our empty purses.
Probably, you'll hear Max Richter's music in the background.
There's a fb page of the project: www.fb.com/saugioji.zona
It's Lithuanian. However, we're planning to open an English page for the foreign audiences.
Some technical information:
Cameras used: Nikon D5000 and Sony EX1 (mostly for Slow-Motion shots).
