Data rushed through the hospital doors, and quickly asked the first nurse he saw where his brother Sick was. He got the answer, and ran to the room. Data saw his brother lying there, unconscious. He was wondering just what happened that landed Sick in the hospital, so he went to the junkyard where Sick's ship was, but found no transmission logs, which he knew his brother kept; that meant someone else had already gotten to them- it had to be the Navy, and they weren't likely to just hand the logs over, so he had to get them sneakily, and that he did.
After reading the logs, he sees that a Spirit took over Sick's mind- to an extent. It would seem that the Spirit showed him images of The Order and projected those images onto an Outcast that had just attacked the Spirit (for unknown reasons). Sick had saved the Spirit from the crazy Outcast, but the Spirit was reminded of The Order when attacked by the Outcast, and so used Sick as it's tool to disperse of the rogue Outcast's ship. When all was said and done, Sick had lost his mind and tried to enter Malta's atmosphere not through a docking station, which was suicidal.
After figuring all this, Data felt angry towards the Spirits, but knew they were special beings, and dared not to take revenge for fear of what retaliation and ripple effect it would have upon the Outcast Nation. He would just have to bite the bullet on this, but now he knew not to get too close to any Spirit for fear of losing his own mind.
And so there was just one question in the air: would Sick ever recover mentally from what he experienced, or would he remain a psychotic and lose his brother to his own mentality?
