' Wrote:Because it comes with Disco. If you check the settings while activating Discovery Mod, there's the option to enable realistic lightening aswell.
Realistic lighting mod =/= bloom mod. Bloom comes packaged with Disco, realistic lighting does not.
Bloom makes everything "glow", or makes the bright areas brighter. It can be inverted by pressing Shift + F9, which makes the dark areas darker.
The realistic lighting mod lowers the ambient light levels; this makes it appear as if lighting is coming from a point source (ie. the brightest star in the system) rather than from ever direction - hence it becomes more realistic. Your ship has areas of shadow instead of being lit by a non-existant light source.
I've been hearing alot about this realistic lighting, pretty tempted to try it out. Anyone got any screens they'd like to share? Preferrably with it set to around 30%.
Can anyone help me... I used this theme in 4.86 and it worked... But it remove the Turret Zoom and change the map and change the intro screen.. Can anyone fix that and upload a new rar for 4.86 ..
I've already have such thing but have one issue... There is not "Cloacking Device ON" "cloacking device off" and many other things which were released in the lates updates...

i would also like to know how to activate the light mod with .86
' Wrote:Manual installation of Realistic Lighting, if it hasn't been posted already.
Code:
1. Download the mod. (Realistic lighting.zip.flmod)
2. Remove ".flmod" from the filename, and extract it to your Discovery folder.
3. Open the lighting.ini in the EXE folder and set it to percent=10 (for example).
4. Rename the lighting.dl_ to lighting.dll
5. Open the dacom.ini and add the line; lighting.dll under [Libraries].
6. Run Freelancer and enjoy.

Do you know any solution?
... this is why it was announced to be non-compatible with Discovery.
If you know your way around Freelancer game files, you might be able to download the whole mod (Shattered Worlds: War Torn) and copy only the files which change HUD colours and icons. I don't know which ones they are off the top of my head, though.
