There are but the drops are pretty bad. afaik.

There's one in Pennyslivania and I don't know about the rest. You can sell it in Narita, New Tokyo. I think the price on selling is untouched. Not recommended you mine for Platinum

Currently platinum is unattractive. It will make a comeback in 4.86.
Current only field: Tremont ring, Penny.
