[color=gold]The last weeks, the Guild, has witnessed with deep disappointment the Colonial Republic's latest diplomatic endeavors.
The Kusari Empire, once an ally of yours, now you are at war with them because of a trivial matter.
The Outcasts, once an archenemy of yours, now you ally with them against the Gallic Royal Navy.
The latest fluidity of our ally's diplomacy is something that has personally concerned each and every Guild Member which hopes that it will be something temporary.

Good evening Guild Masters,
I am answering your communication to explain the recent diplomatical changes.
The first one, the war with Kusari, is by no means a trivial matter. We were closely allied with the Empire of Kusari before, this is right. However, when we decided to put an end on the war with Bretonia, to prevent any further useless slaughter from happening, our Republic was punished for this act by the aforementioned Empire. Our economy took heavy damage from the following embargo.
How would you, dear Guildmasters act if you get punished for saving lifes? Kusari and Bretonia are still at war, which should show the warmongering nature of the Kusarian Empire.
We decided to help the Bretonians to put a stop to exactly this nature of the Samura influenced state, something we should have done far earlier.
About the second diplomatic trend you mentioned, I am sure that you have heard about the intentions of the Gallic Kingdom, be it from the Council or other sources. They are a danger to every free mind in Sirius. You might ask yourself, if the Outcasts arent the same. Declining this thought would be a lie, the Maltese are a danger as well, yet they can not even remotely access the resources Gallia can use.
You should know that we would never ally with the Maltese. We will however use everything we can use, in order to hold a Gallic invasion back as long as possible. The Maltese have lost large amounts of men and technology in these fights already, so did the Gallic soldiers. We however managed to escape these large battles with nearly no losses, while causing huge damage to both sides. More damage then we could have caused against either side on our own.
I hope that you are able to understand our intentions and reasons more clearly now.

We both know that conquerors like Charles XI come and go. However, the real threat to humanity remains being the Outcasts and their drug. All these decades thousands of Guild brothers and sisters and Colonial citizens have sacrificed their lives as real heroes against that beast. And you disrespectfully throw all these lives away allying and protecting Malta from GRN incursions.
I may not represent the entirety of the Board's opinion, however I firmly believe that you dishonor their memory with your colorful diplomacy. I suggest your admirals to quickly run some old videos and see what the Outcasts really are before it is too late.

Gentlemen,
The situation within the Tau borderworlds is indeed changing. This... ambiguity of whom is friend, and foe, has both it's advantages and disadvantages. For both ourselves, and the Colonial Republic. While it pains me to see you come to the aid of the Maltans, that the Gallic Royal forces see the same happen, would suggest to them, you are in league with the Maltans. Which gives us a very plausible reason to answer the Royalists with, if they come and ask why a long standing ally of ours is attacking them.
I concur with the Colonial assessment. The new threat is the greater one. Do not worry too much, Tomas. If you need proof of our relations, visit Coronado, and see the construction efforts planetside. The Republic and the Guild, share many views on the future. If through a little meddling, both the Outcasts and Gallic forces lose significantly, that only promotes our mutual causes. In the long term however, hostilities with Kusari may become troublesome...
Regards,
- Johnathan Sanders
