Senor Hoerst,
You know me, hermano, I am a man of few words, well... few sober words. But I am... how you say... troubled by all this sabre rattling from the higher ups.
Your man Meisner is backing Katz into a corner, he has his own hard men... Iron men? si, that is the term, Iron men in his government that he has to keep happy. Men that do not take kindly to people peeing on McIntosh's legacy. They are growing in strength, holmes, and even I fear what will happen if they see weakness from El Head Honcho.
I dunno, esse, I feel like this whole thing is far out of hand, and maybe would have been settled better if there were better communications back and forth from our ranks... You know what we mean to each other, hermanos in blood and in war, esse, and that isn't something we just toss in de trash because some politician on your end wants to be the el heffe, and politicians on our side don't want to be known as the lone rangers side kick... what was his name... ahh Tanto.
We're nobodies girl-dog, we don't enter de showers and part our cheeks for nobody, you know this, holmes. Tell you what, you go upstairs and slap your politician, I will go upstairs and slap mine, and we go back to doing what we do, slaughter every last Corsair that gets in our way.
We still have Gran Canaria to bomb, you and me should be drinking together and smoking Cuban cigars while Doc Holliday's Corsair stud Ranch cooks our marshmellows, si?

Herr Alvarez,
You know how it is with the political brass. They go to Vogtland, lock themselves in a room for a few hours, and when they come out - someone always gets burned. Meisnerr may have led the battle for Casablanca, and I know Katz has some similar accomplishments. But they're both politicians now, they're out of touch with the front. They don't remember any more what we have to do to keep the movement alive, sometimes it means bending a few rules here and there.
I'm not sure yet if this is bigger than just a bent rule snapping back or not. Whoever on the Revolutionary Council appointed Meisnerr as the one to speak to you on this whole thing was very smart. Meisnerr still supports the alliance, but he has to talk hard and represent the entire Council so he won't back down in his demands. I can only assume Katz has a similar issue.
So, that's going to be the game for a few weeks. There's going to be a lot of talking and planning and such scheiÃe. Wait it out for a short while, and send some of your patrols down to the front lines in the mean time to be more visible with the troops, build some support for the weeks ahead.
I'm not sure yet, but I think there's a plan in motion.

Senor Hoerst,
Perhaps it is time for a change at the top, perhaps a restoration of the Great Leader's... methodology.
Would the Red Hessian Army be open, mi hermano, to a stronger Coalition Leader?
