I wonder how that will be managed. Will there be an infinite amount of snubs being able to dock on one BS or a restricted one, will Carriers be able to carry more snubs than other Battleships, will Gunboats be able to dock on them, will it be possible to carry fighters on a cruiser?
Well, there sure are a lot of questions. I hope there are some answers.

In all seriousness, you aren't going to get any clear answers. You're going to get people who have no idea, but are going to tell you how they think it SHOULD work. You're going to get people who have heard only rumors, and have made often completely incorrect assumptions on how it's going to work based on those rumors. You're going to get people who are just tired of seeing people ask these questions, so they just make up stuff and present it as truth.
And there's a very rare chance that you might actually get someone who knows what they're talking about, but they're going to end up drowned out or ignored by all the others, or just assumed to be one of the other types.

Though...others here are right. But okay....
The only logical thing that is connected to the count of the snubs it can carry, depends on the size of the carriers. And some ships like the Jinkusu for example look like the hangar bay can take -some- sorts of gunboats but not all, like the fat Hathor...
The IMG gunboat would fit, yeah. But if you make it possible to let only different kind of gunboats dock on the Carriers that would mean loads more work and also some difficulties because of the missing balance at some points.
But...even if we know that sizes should be treatened as a logical and important part of Disco in terms of ships, it wouldn't surprise me, if gunboats would be able to dock on carriers, something I doubt, the real size wouldn't matter.
The docking manouver itself....well. Because a quick dock would be 'OP' in huge scale fights for the fighters and so on I could think of the same manouver like on the stations, just without the part of being undestroyable while docking....
