Das Wilde/IMG/OSC .85 / .86 crossover event

If there is sufficient interest, I'll be running this, and couple more events, to mirror the changes that have occurred in the move from .85 to .86. I had hoped to be able to complete this just before .86 became available, but illness, and the loss of a couple of faction leaders made it impossible to pull off. I hope it can still be a bit of fun for those that get involved.

Background for Das Wilde
Das Wilde are close to completing their jump gate in Omega-58. They are, however, having problems integrating the human technology they have acquired with their own nomad technology. These problems threaten to undermine the project, and time is running out. In order to remedy the situation quickly, Das Wilde decide that they have to take the highly risky step of kidnapping human scientists with expertise in the field. Das Wilde acquired the passenger manifests for Greyhound Passenger Transportation here (post 116).

Background for GPT (OS&C)
Greyhound Passenger Transportation, the Bretonian wing of OS&C, are providing a Luxury Yacht to transport a number of Bretonian civilians, engineers and scientists from the Cambridge Research Institute, to a jump gate technology conference on Planet Baden Baden in Stuttgart. Also aboard the vessel is an eminent Rheinland astrophysicist who had been stuck at the CRI during the conflict between Bretonia and Rheinland. With hostilities between the two houses having ceased, and his work at the CRI completed, he is taking the opportunity to return home. Due to the high profile nature of the passengers on the Yacht, it is being escorted by a wing of fighters.

Background for IMG
The IMG are escorting a transport vessel through Stuttgart when they receive a broken transmission that appears to be part of a distress call. The soon come across the GPT yacht and its escort, stationary in space. Curiosity killed the cat………
