Well I'm planning on buying an LSF LABC, however have run into a bit of a snag. WIth the elimination of the LSF Guard ID, can I fly a Cruiser on the standard ID even though it does not include cruisers in allowed ships?

Nope. All police factions have been limited to gunboats.

Edit: Just follow what your ID says. Apparently the ship allowances were changed from what I wrote.

This is clearly a bug. The normal LSF ID will be updated to allow the same ships as the old guard ID.
