Liberty Battle Transport Bison

Navy ID- Cannot fly anything over 3500 cargo
Bison- Cargo is 4200

Developed to meet the needs of the Liberty Armed Forces and to carry every thing a fighting force needs into hostile territory. As it stands, it can't be flown by the Navy...So, I just bought one and realized I wont be able to RP it the way I wanted..What ID can be used with it? Any legal Corporation..only Liberty Corporations or only Ageira? Is it open use?

Liberty Corporations can use them. And the tech is open use I think.

There's your answer. Navy ID can't fly the Bison. This part of the ID overrules the description in the ship infocard.

The Bison is green-cell to Liberty Corporations.

Bit of a silly restriction on the Navy ID to be honest. Guess [LN] might have to drop the navy ID on everything policy. Not going to be missing out on using that ship because somebody had a bad day in the office |8.

Thanks Eco 7-7, but I already pointed out the obvious, (I can read an ID), and was looking for alternatives, which have been found.

Although...it is rather silly that the Navy cant use a transport that was created for them.

The Bison was designed specifically as a Battle Transport for the Liberty Navy, as its infocard demonstrates:

Developed to meet the logistical needs of the Liberty Armed Forces for rapid deployment of critical troops, equipment and infrastructure into hostile environments

This is another ID oversight.

I would mind seeing an Universal Shipping faction being contracted for such tasks. It fits lore-wise.

They deal with moving weapons, amo and supplies to Battleships and bases...and supplying allies with weapons, as well as the transport of materials needed for war production..

Just thinking...almost a Copy of Brettonias CONVOY sort off, but with a Liberty flair...
Could also Feed a battleship with fuel for jumps...

That's was typo I fixed now, thanks for pointing it out.

Why Navy IFF? You could use Universal IFF with Universal ID. Even police is outsourced to a corporation in Liberty and at least [*USI*], the player faction, is very partriotic and pro-Liberty oriented.
I'm personally a fan of inter-faction cooperation, just an idea.
The LN ID will be most likely fixed.
