Name: Josephine "Josie" Alibrandi Age: 24 Residence: Level 12, Apartment 3113, Zulu Tower, Manhattan Employment: Liberty Naval Logistical Service Employment Position: Commanding Officer of the [LN]-LLS-Arleigh Burke Rank: Lieutenant Commander
Josephine "Josie" Alibrandi was born on the Planet Gran Canaria. She is the lifelong friend of Jorzza Clark. Her family, like Clark's migrated to Liberty apart of a recruitment program for workers aboard the twin New York Shipyards. She enlisted with Clark at the age of 17 and 9 months but however did not opt to send in an application for the Primary fleet instead she went into a more mainstream role and majored in Navigation. She scored high marks in the navigation of medium size vessels and freighters. About six months after Josephine graduated from West Point she was asked by Clark to be his XO aboard the then under construction; [LN]-LLS-Arleigh Burke. She accepted the job and the promotion to Junior Lieutenant, from there she was promoted to full lieutenant when Clark was given command of the LLS and then again to Lieutenant Commander when Clark made his decision to make Josephine the Commanding Officer of the Arleigh Burke. When Clark was asked about his decisions with Alibrandi he stated"For his first command he needed someone he could trust implicitly as his X.O." and when Clark handed off his command of the Arleigh Burke he stated that, "Lieutenant Commander Alibrandi knows the crew, the operations and how it works aboard a ship with mostly Marines."
Josie has a Cat that she keeps with her aboard despite regulations. The cat is named Cannie. Possibly a reference to the Planet Gran Canaria, where she grew up early in life.
