Upon hearing the words of approval it seemed like Vincente regained part of his lost confidence
I'm willing to flying anything you put me into.I'm leaving the choice to You to place me into anything that's most necessary.-said Vincente
//I'm really looking forward on playing since it's been quite some time since I've last played freelancer. So give me anything, really anything since I've never been much of a pvp pilot anyways
A good pilot willing to adapt. I like it. Welcome to the 81 Syndicate, get your ass out of my office and grab yourself a fighter. You've got cardimine that needs guarding.
Background/Former Outcast work:
Previously a member of RRS, a small shipping company focused on smuggling. Aside from the small fighter core, everyone else is either out of commision or in jail.
I've personally funded most of the fighters, and we have always been on call to the 101st.
But, with most of my crew mates out of commision, I find myself being the lone smuggler, and the 101st seem to be the only ones trying to help me out. Returned respect is something I firmly believe in. And they've earned it. So whatever I can do by applying my skills, I'm more than happy to do so.
I've been running Cardimine to New York for quite a long time, and know the tricks of the trade. And I always make sure to keep Malta fresh with slaves. I don't see the problem, I grew up as one myself.
I took up pirating and bounty work to pay my way to freedom. After proving my math skills and ability to abuse the piloting abilities of Transports, switching to a career in smuggling and shipping came naturally.
Why you want to join:
I'd love to help the Outcasts in any way shape or form possible. Whether I'm flying my transport or providing support and escorts, I'm glad to help. I figured the Syndicate is a better route though, since I have extensive experience in smuggling.
[font=Arial Narrow]The door opens, and the name of Deungo Caladon is called. He enters the room, awaiting any questions by the man with his application form.
[color=#000000]"An experienced smuggler.. Exactly what we need. Though one thing strikes me as a bit peculiar. You say you were a slave yourself, yes? Well then how exactly did you manage to be so experienced in smuggling? Did your owners just let you free with their transport or something? Please, explain this to me."

Originally, I wasn't Piloting. I was only handling cargo. After a while I learned the ropes; quick routes, how to talk to pirates (they're not so bad once you get to know them), good ways to use trade lanes... things like that. The Piloting came more out of need then opertunity. We got into a firefight, the pilot was wounded. I'd had a bit of experience flying small escorts for some convoys.
That's what gave me the oppertunity to pave my way to freedom. We managed to make it to Rochester, and the Junkers were kind enough to help the crew back to health and complete repairs.
I started with assited piloting and plotting after that insident, and after a few years was given permission to make my own runs. Ever since, my trips have been exclusivly to Malta and abroad.
I know most people have problems with slaves, but I can honestly say it made me the person I am now. I don't know where I'd be..... probably working some dirty ally in Manhatten.
Background/Former Outcast work: I got myself in the trading industry as soon as I got out of pilot school. My routes mainly consisted of bringing supplies to isolated mining stations and bringing ore back. It was a well paying job, but not enough for my taste.
So I started doing some side-jobs, mainly for the Hessians. Brought some supplies to their bases and brought salvage back so it could be sold. I ended up getting caught by the Rheinland Millitary though, and if it wasn't for the fact that a group of Hessians was patrolling in that sector, I would probably be in Vierlande at the moment.
Not long after this the war between Kusari and Bretonia started. I saw this as a great opportunity for making money so I went there and started blockade running military supplies from one side of the border to the other. It was challenging, since both sides were doing everything they could in order to stop blockade runners, but I knew a few good routes that enabled me to pass undetected. Of course it couldn't last forever.
One day, I started having a few problems with my cruises engines while on a run from Bretonia to Kusari. I was left with two choices. I could either use my normal route, but the thing was that if did it with no cruise engine ot would have taken me weeks.
The other solution and the one I chose was to simply go straight in through the jump gates and use bluff if I got caught. As soon as I tried to jump out of Leeds I was pulled over by a member of the Bretonian Air Force. I tried bluffing him, but it failed and I was sent to jail on Planet New London.
I stayed there about 1 year before I got liberated.
Why you want to join: I would continue doing the stuff I did previously but since I am currently a wanted criminal in Rheinland and Kusari and that I am on the Bretonian Police watchlist its not really a possibilty.
I heard of cardamine smuggling before, although it didn't interest me that much, due to horrible rumors about the outcasts that I heard from some of my colleagues when I started trading.
But since I can't do much smuggling from lawful bases without getting caught immediately, cardamine smuggling seems to be the only option left if I want to make large amounts of credits. Its risky, but that's just a detail to me.
[font=Arial Narrow]A man exited the door and called Sanchez into the office. He entered, and his gaze was now focused at an angry-faced figure seated at the end of the table.
[color=#000000]"Let me ask you something.. Do you think, I am, perhaps, stupid? Do you think.. that I, Head of recruiting and more importantly captain of the Abyssus Vindico, am stupid? You neither show the dedication nor the will to live, fight, and die for this nation. You have no experience with cardimine and frankly why would we even accept someone who got caught in the first place?! Get out of my sight, before I spill your brains right here and now."
