Ever sinec the LN RM event over Westfalen and KU Bret fight in Leeds, it got me thinking:

Can the hook be programmed that certain ships to avoid spam could enter a command from their station to set needed amount of goods to be delivered?

ie ship Fakshunlead types /set commodityneed hullpanel 10000 5000 Fakshunbank

meaning that the faction wants to have delivered 10000 units of hull panels at 5000 credits per piece as bonus that are drawn from Fakshunbank ship.

Now if only there could be way to automatically write all these down to some acesible chart, like the activity or players online where you could check all currently active missions. Pick what you can do and deliver.

The coincidence is almost scary: I opened a manual version of this a few hours ago:D

Would be nice if it would go automatically indeed, but for now I think something like my example works fine.

ye, +1.

if a trader was on this type of mission, would they have mission bug?

could we exploit mission bug to say 'this player is on a trade mission for <faction>?

That would be metagaming, so not a very good idea.

yeah, true dat. but was thinking more along the lines of rp-based interaction, but you have neatly pointed out the flaw in posting random drunken thoughts.
