Where would a xeno buy a pirate trans?

So i been looking at xeno ID, and tech nerf chart. I noticed these allow a xeno to use pirate trans, and greem on nerf. So question is. Where would a xeno buy one? Everywhere it is sold is hostile. Also states they can use Liberty civ tech. But where would they get these?
The xeno ID puts all red so you cannot land after getting the ID, and getting with a recruit ID is against rules because no trans allowed.
So isn't allowing them a ship class they can never get kind of pointless?
Also a little off topic, but why does Alamo base sell GB/cruiser/BS guns when xenos cannot use caps?

You can. But i usually rep my chars before i decide on ships.
Plus a new player without a bank roll of cash would start off with another ship, and work his way up to a bigger ship.. If you go from another char to xeno you better hope you never did missions. No way to get bribe for xenos anywhere but a xeno base.

Setting up is an OORP process, doesn't matter where they are actually sold. inRP we get the ships from the Zoners over the black market. Same as any other ship we get.

No way to get bribe for xenos anywhere but a xeno base.

FP2 in Bering offers a Xeno bribe...with effort it's possible to get a double.

Ames Research Station in Kepler also offers a double Xeno bribe.


So do your liberty restart, grab a Rogue bribe at FP2, pickup the p-trans in Cortez, then get the double Xeno bribe at Ames...all you need after that is to get the ID.

Hmmm i guess. Shame though. Means instead of upgrading my xeno, I have to make a whole new character for it. I have never seen a Ptrans xeno so thought it might be fun to play. Oh well. Got way to many chars right now to start a new one.

Still possible. Just slap on a different ID and take some bribes so you can get the ship. After that go run some Xeno missions to get your rep back up.
