Example: I have quite a big list of "green reputations" on my ship.
Top 2 are - BHG (IFF), and BHG Core.
I decide to drop BHG to get BHG Core IFF... but I end dropping whole list till I get the Core IFF, because each time I /droprep, another one takes it's place (while Core rep stays at 2nd position, just like before.)
Had same issues with few other ships as well.
Is it intended this way?
P.S. Yes, I did some BHG missions to "increase" Core reputation (although it was at max already), but that didn't help. It was still 2nd on the list, and was "ignored" after /droprep command, when I was taking new IFF.

To save yourself some money just shoot some of the npcs for the other factions you are green with.
The pre-droprep method I used & still do on occasion is, once the rep I want goes full green, I slip to the bases of the others that went green by proxy & simply take & drop missions in a flurry until the their rep is exactly where I want it. & just as long as the other green reps are at least a sliver below 100% I never have to worry about gaining an accidental affiliation
