Hi guys, i just joined and i am really confused, so bare the few questions that i have.

1) I am having this annoying energy reduction to 10% and i don't know why, so if some could explain i would be very thankful.

2) These ID's have confused me so if u could drop a post where i can learn how they work you would be an awesome guy/girl.

3) (The last) I heard there were some kinda campaign qwests/storyline but i haven't found anything related to that. And if there are other missions than those at bar could u say where can i get them?

Means you're using something that you shouldn't. Ship and equipment should match your ID.

What's confusing? You need an ID equipped. Think of it as indicating what faction you work for.

Discovery does not have a campaign or storyline. Vanilla freelancer (without the Discovery mod) has a single player campaign, and I highly recommend playing through it. It's not that long.

In Discovery, the only missions available are those at the bar.

Well to start off, the welcome section is really the place if you are new: http://discoverygc.com/forums/index.php?showforum=15

That said I'll try to help:

1: The energy reduction is because you are using equipment/ships not designed for your ID, basically if you have a faction ID, use that factions/civillian tech, if you have a freelancer/generic ID, use civillian tech. If you want more details there is a "tech nerf" thread in the rules forum.

2: The IDs show what faction you belong to/what sort of job you do. E.G: If you want to be part of the liberty navy, buy a liberty navy ID, if you want to pirate people, buy a pirate ID. The IDs say on them what you can and cant do.

3: The campaign has been disabled for the last 2 mod versions, as too much has changed. You can play it without the mod, or with versions of 4.84 and earlier (though it's hard), and 86 has its own storyline which you can find out by reading the news, reading the forums (especially com channel, and news forum) talking to npcs, and talking to players (remember to talk in rp - as though it were real - though, no "whats going on in this game, with the latest update").
