What i mean with best battleship is the one that can easly survive any fight and does nice damage.

Sounds like you just want the largest boat in the game. All battleships die to 2 bombers.

All battleships have their own advantages, the Liberty Dreadnaught and Osiris are very small, so they can survive better if you can fly them better but they lack the guns and armor of others... things like the Valor and Rheinland battleship are massive tanks with lots of guns but they maneuver like a morbidly obese blue whale and are just about as easy to hit so you cannot avoid damage in them.

I did not bother to vote. There is no "BEST" Battleship. They all excel at different tasks. Plus you have diferent play styles, and diferent RP's. I will however point out i like the new turret system, but at same time it makes the Battleship useless vs Snubs,and less effective vs other caps. Old style you could design your ship for a purpose, now the new turret system took that away. Pre-4.86 it was posted BSs would get "MORE" turrets to make up for diff hardpoints. Now i see that was a flat out lie. I almost never fly the Yorktown anymore. I used to be able to fight anything with a pair of Mortars, and rest all primes.

The Osiris was awesome in .85, but I heard it got a serious nerf.

The good old Liberty Dread is my choice, since it's probalby one of the most effective and still versatile Dreadnought in the game.
