So I've been pretty bored lately because there's not much RP going on, and I was thinking about opening up a sports bar where I would simulate different games for different sports and ships could just come around and stay near me and hear the commentaries (live from me). I thought it was a good RP idea, plus I've never seen one before. Plus I was thinking maybe if I have enough people around, there could be bets and stuff, ( not big of course, just like for fun like "regular people" (1000 credits or so))
Thing is I don't know what ship would be good for this, any help?
Also where should I be stationed? New york seems to be the best idea cause its always crowded.

I like the idea, although I would probably run out of stuff to say if I didn't script things beforehand.
Also, as far as betting goes, it might be simpler to make everything in 100,000 increments, as that's the minimum for /givecash, which would make things simpler I think.
As for the ship, this sounds like a liner job to me, but you could really use anything you wanted.
yeah well I'm pretty good at making commentaries because I do that at my school for various sports:)
As for the liner Idea I was thinking of that too, but all the liners seem to be very affiliated with a company, and Idk which affiliation would sponsor a sports bar o.O

You could always rp ingame and on the forums that you acquired the ship on the used market, if you wanted to go with OS&C liner (although I would think it would be justifiable in-rp, as OS&C is all about having fun, and a Casino/Sports liner certainly fits that category).
Or...
...the new Renzu Liner works as a non-affiliated Liner, as Renzu is a ship manufacturing company IIRC.

I was also thinking of what ID to use?? I kinda want to be able to go around and float around in any system, so that I can reach many people, and word of mouth spreads. Who knows maybe start a fleet of casinos or something (just an idea:))

Hmmm, well that's where your left with few options.
Generic id's don't allow liners, so those are out right away.
That really only leaves corporate ids. Now, I don't know every id, and I might be missing 1, but OS&C is the only id that I'm aware of that can legally fly either liner, so that pretty much bottlenecks you to that id, which leads me to believe you might as well save some money and buy the cheaper OS&C liner, and just rp that your a seperate department, or a spin-off, or whatever.
One good thing is that OS&C's ZoI is Sirius-Wide, so you will be able to go where you wish, guard systems notwithstanding.
