Well 2days ago I was heading to Ontario.

Coming from Planet L.A. in CA I was kinda shocked.

A Council Battleship coming from the Ontario System ....

I was in shock and did not know what to do....

Is this allowed ? Flyin a Council Battleship in Liberty?
Via RP I know that every capital wich is entering Liberty has to ask for permission..
well the friendly ones of course.

This player told me he can be here due to Liberty and the Council are not hostile?
So why is he showin hostile to me?!

Take a look: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/404/screen108.png/

Did I miss something?

I am not 100% on the relations between council and us but I don't think we're hostile.

However, "This player told me he can be here due to Liberty and the Council are not hostile?" is NOT a good enough excuse. Freindly or not they HAVE to get permission from primary fleet before bringing a capital class ship into Liberty space. I have shoo'd off many ships before includeing a liberty civilian corvo who assumed it didn't class as a capital ship.

I've seen a number of Council ships in Liberty space but never a Battleship, mostly a GB or two and snubs, for diplomatic reasons only. There have been discussions going on between the official factions I think. However, that Battleship is not the official Council faction, if there is one, so I don't think it should be in Liberty space without very good reason.

Council capital ships are not permitted in liberty. Gunboats, transports and smaller vessels are permitted. The Council must obey the same laws as every other visitor to Liberty.

Liberty currently maintains a neutral-friendly relationship with the Council.

There was a sig here, once.

The Council and Liberty are both hostile to the Gallic Royals. Thus, they're a bit friendly to eachother. But that doesn't mean Council Redemptions should go traipsing in Liberty territory... methinks it'd receive a quick booting by the LNS swarm. (Heck, I reckon siege cruiser swarm would welcome something other then warturtle packs to blast)

If he showed hostile to you, it is probabaly because you saw council ship in 85. They will go green when you start killing GRN, heck my trade ship will have Council IFF next time a kill a Lynx

As a member of the Official Council faction (yes, we do exist) I have to say that despite Section Five, Part Two of The Law of the Republic of Liberty states The Gallic Council as the only permitted Gallic faction to enter Libertonian space, this does not make us exception from under the anti-foreign warships policy of Liberty. We understand and respect this, and if we will ever ask for permission for a battleship to enter Liberty, the circumstances will be very special. As stated above, that vessel does not belong under the Regular Council Liberation Navy.

Showing up as red on scanners is probably because of reputation glitches, I've seen many LN battleships as red too, I guess it has something to do with the old version's guard reps.

First ask to leave and escort it out, if refuses, force, I'd say. He better complies if doesn't want to face the consequences imo.
