Konnichiwa,
We are aware that in the last two decades or so, since the Nomad War, our relationship has been wonky at best. Sometimes we were on friendly attitudes, sometimes we were painted as hostiles.
But we wish to put this behind us. We wish to begin discussions concerning a fresh start for both of our groups.
Our beloved home has been stricken by the Gallics and we are now paying the consequences: the Government has changed hands, our leadership was dismantled, and we are left with little for ourselves. A majority of our former activities are now entirely outlawed, and the way to Bretonia from the Taus are blockaded, cutting us from former allies.
We have no one to turn to in these days.
It is why that we come to you in good faith, and offer you friendship between our two organisations. A friendship which we're sure would flourish and leave us both stronger and wiser. We believe that this is an urgent thing to do, as we both know that for Liberty, it isn't a question of "If" the Gallics are invading, but rather "when". Don't let yourselves be caught off guard as we have.
It is surprising that you send us this transmission thinking you would be treated as a friend.
You claim our relations have been troublesome in the past, and there is a very simple reason for that.
Every time we step foot in the House of Kusari, we are greeted with obvious hostility. I remember several cases in which pilots of the Black Dragon Society tried to pirate and open fire on our transports and operatives. We are rather the pragmatic bunch, but there are limits to our forgiveness.
And now that the Gallic threat has made its first move, you want us to consider a fresh start? Even the Lane Hackers do not switch sides so quickly.
If only you were proposing new Artifact shipping contracts, we could find an arrangement. But it seems you are looking for an ally.
You'll have to be persuasive.

The stakes have changed since, and so has the dynamics. The internal policies have changed. The Hogosha you were used to deal with is no more. Exiles within our own home, we are attempting to gain back what was lost and rightfully ours. We are not the Farmer Alliance; we do not shun outsiders. We are business people with many connections, until recently. These connections are now much less effective since the new politics were instored, and our former allies are barely of any use to us.
Call us opportunists, but you are one of the few groups we had the chance to work with who have been reliable. While you do take part in the cardamine's trade, you are ruthless business people, something which the Blood Dragons cannot claim to be. While you may not be numerous, you are efficient at your work, something which the Crysanthenums cannot claim to be. While you may have ideologies, you are rational and see the larger picture, something which the Farmer Alliance cannot claim to be, or do. While you may be considered terrorists in your homes, you have stability. Something which the Hogosha cannot claim to have right now.
You are honorable, and this is something we respect -and research-, in allies. Keep in mind, though, that we are not searching for allies to fight for us. But we would need materials. Materials which the Hackers have a simpler access to than we may have.
Does this mean that such an alliance would forever last? Even I would doubt. But if such a relationship is mutually beneficial, I see no harm in trying.
