Ok a little question for you all to ponder. I fly a junker in NY/Liberty. He is very loyal to all things Libertry(RP wise) Now he supports the Lawful Libs, but also has friends with the Rogues.
So he comes upon a Outcast GB shooting Navy/police/bunters,and rogues in NY(NPCs) So i stop to take a peek(always safe as a junker)A lone Liberator is placing him under arrest(funny huh?) so i stick around. Then another snub flying navy IFF shows up in VHF.(still bad odds for lawfuls) and as per the norm a fight breaks out. Now seeing as my char loves Liberty, and this lad has a hold full of both lawfuls, and rogues i offer to assist Lawfuls as they are getting pounded. They accept, and my debs/mini razor/4 missile launchers turn the fight around real fast.
So what you all think? Is this RP or OORP? As the lad in GB was rather pissed after i blew off his turrets, and he died.
No flames please, just honest oppinions.
A Junker can ally with both sides, but it depends, on which side are your more important interests. If your char is switching between lawfuls and Rogues , then I say your reaction was the right one to choose the lawful's side (in this case).
1st reason: Good decision to avoid future problems with the lawfuls.
2nd reason: It was an Outcast GB , and the Outcasts are only "guests" in Liberty, and your char isinhabitant of Liberty, so it's logical to support your "own family side". ( if it 'd be a Rogue GB this point fails)
3rd reason: the communication inside the lawful side should be better than comm between ROgue bases and Outcasts.
Resume (only my opinion): You did a really fine RP-part.
