surely some of you already made similar reports, but i'd like to gather again some attention to it.
Since this should be a RP server, i need to focus attention about lack of RP by lots of pirates i'm encountering around whole sirius... :nono:
No conversation, no greets, no thanks, just asking money and stop. If they want to play those ways, they can easily play in other non-RP servers. :rtfm:
I'm getting quite tired about this. If i'm a trader I can enjoy some conversation too, even if you are a pirate, does it cost some to them?
Yes this can apply to pretty much every single area on the entire server. Every faction has its Lolwuts. All you can do about it is report them if they break the rules and are against them, and talk them straight if they're on your side.

It's perfectly RP for the only communication to be a demand.
This. And it works not only with piracy.
I remember from my days as a hunter - the longer you speak with a pirate you're supposed to kill, the bigger the chance of you being swarmed by his reinforcements.
Infact I'm not a Hunter, I'm not a Pirate, I'm a simple trader.
Pirates even don't want to talk with an inoffensive transport? your choice, but don't expect to get some RP from me then... neither some credits, I prefer to get blasted instead of giving credits to such players.
I'm not asking a tea time, piretes can have a proper RP even talking...
So, if you don't want to Rp with a bit of conversation, you should check other servers... that's my opinion.

Ehem. you are quite correct. As long as they demand it in an rp fashion.
I've seen people go "gimme money or diy" - This is unacceptable. They haven't asked for a specific amount of money. They haven't spelt correctly... Frankly awful.
Now if they said something along the lines of "Ah, I'm sure two million credits wouldn't go amiss from that account of yours, hmm?" - That is much better.
I also disagree with people demanding ridiculous amounts of credits (more than half of profit) or demanding all your cargo. Say your a miner, you've been mining for a couple of hours, going to get a really good profit (and you need it desperately) then, when your on your way to sell it, a pirate demands all your cargo. This may deter newish players a lot.
I remember when I was on disco previously.
That wasn't so much a problem as if you're typing up an actual reply, you'd be just that much closer to getting shot because they're usually a) jumpy and b) impatient.
I found that a whole lot more troublesome than the pirates who stopped, detained me and gave me a chance to at the very least react or give the situation a thought.
"Do I want to lose this cargo or will I give them a slice of my profits?" I mean, losing your 1mill cargo when that 1 mill is all you have is not preferable to losing 300.000
Even though it was perfectly annoying because some of them would pray on much lower level players. <---this in particular
But that's just my take on it from who knows how long ago? xD
