In Omega 3, I frequently find Freeport 1 camped by a Corsair or another, who demands credits. This strikes me as the worst possible way to pirate- I've always passed them without ever paying the credits, or even loosing any NB/SB. Do they actually think you'll pay credits instead of just docking? I can't wrap my head around this.
There are no Corsairs at Freeport 1 because everyone knows that Corsairs are adamantly against using Freeports that sit near space which compromises the tactical advantage of neighboring sovereignties.

I bumped into them just now... Two of them, to be exact.

That is not a bad demand. I had a pirate who asked for 15 millions :rolleyes:and my full cargo hold value was 6.5 millions. He made the mistake of stopping me way to close to the trade lanes so I was pulled into them as they came online. But seriously, why would I pay 15 million to escape with a 6.5 cargo hold? :nono:
