The repair crew eventually managed to open the doors to the docking bay but they told me I oly had a short amount of time because of the emergency springs in the hinges of the door were manually operated, I only had a short amount of time. I got to work, all that remained of the ships weapons were two Bounty Hunter Bucksots and a paralyzer missile launcher. They showed no significance of any history of the station so I kept them for personal use. As I searched throughout the ship I noticed that the flight computer was missing, it hadnt been torn off or blown out. It seemed as if it had been intentionally removed. The poor soul in the pilot seat was nothing but dust and bones.
The repair crew suddenly reported that the claws of the repair ship were at critical mass and so i turned outta there and the doors slammed shut. Now only a small gap remains for anyone to peer into that god forsaken place. Helled open only by only a small chunk of scrap metal, but not for long.
So It may turn out that the flight computer of patrol 99's escort may be the one I have. It's only a theory, but I allow myself to hope.
The tracing on the flight computer lasted till morning, well whatever you call morning with a sun that you can see 36 hours a day. Anyway, it reported that the recipient was a piece of hardware out in the Walker Nebula in sector C7. I'l be heading there now, I can't wait.
The piece of hardware turned out to be an old abandoned/scrap air tank module. I suspect it may have been a storage tank that was lotted by pirates but i'm not scrapping the fact that it may have been once part of the station at Gruinder. I checked the only place on the tank module that could possibly have any type of compter hardware and there it was, the Storage Tank beacon computer. The beakon itself was not functioning for it was lost but the hardware didnt seem to be in bad shape.
Before long I kitted up in my emergency space suit from my escape pod and set out to collect the hardware. At the moment it's in my hold and I'm heading back to Borholm to see what secrets it may hold.
When I got back to Bornholm my CO headed me up and told me that his men had recovered three nomad brains in the holds of the Convoy 99 transports. Apparently one of the collection division discovered it and it posessed him, two Junkers were killed before he was shot. The other three crews working on the convoys were told to look out for them and surprise, surprise, two more were found. The brains are currently under special protection in one of the scrap metal containers on Bornholm. Apparently, they also found large quantities of Military Vehichles and Beryllium in the holds. This is all getting very weird but somhow making sense. We could have another Freeport 7 on our hands here.
When I got back to my accomodation, I booted up the beakon computer, crude things, I did manage to find the file though, in fact i found 2. On was an in flight personal log entry and another was a flight log information file. I'l upload them to my log now.
Sorry about the false location, turns out this thing was a Daumann storage satellite and the computer is scrambling up my log location, so it thinks it's still where it was. It's gonna take me a minute to upload the data so bear with me. You may see some of the boot process but no worries. I'l upload the flight personal log entry first.

This is Lt. Ernst Eisenhower of Patrol 99. I am currently captive aboard Weimar station in Omega 15 and people need to know what happened here. If your reading this then it means that you have found either the transmission on Daumann Outpost X44TR or you have traced it to there via my onboard flight computer. Also if you are reading this, then I am dead.
There is alot to know but I don't have much time so I will be brief. Weimar station is a GMG base, they were planning to outflank Rheinland with the amassed forces they had accumalated here. No-one knew of this stations existence except for high positions in the GMG and a few nosy pirates who got too close. This is how Rheinland got wind. I was an agent on Leon when I overheard a corsair and a zoner murmering about it. I reported it to my CO and a civilian ship was sent behind planet Skagen to confirm the location of the base.
A undercover mission was immediatley scheduled for three civilian transports, a train and a single escort (me) posing as a GMG convoy with a trusted Bounty Hunter escort to infiltrate the station to see what the GMG were up to.
Well we managed to infiltrate the station but the GMG were wary of us, there were not expecting us until another two hours which definatley was a very bad mistake for us. When we got onto the station the civilian pilots posing as GMG operatives went to the commodities dealer to keep the charade up, I however stated I was going to the Pilots bar as an excuse to leave.
Using the hacking equipment i was supplied, I hacked the mainframe from a small security console in the dock and discovered what the GMG had planned. They had shippind hundreds of transports full of Military Vehichles and Light Arms here for an Assault on Dresden and then onto New Berlin. It showed aswell that they had few pilots stationed here to avoid detection and suspicion. I could not tell what their long term plan was but I could guess that they were planning to take control of Rheinland space. I also discovered that several experimental tests were being run on Equipment I had never seen before, the technology was...alien. Like nothing I'd seen.
I transferred all of this info onto my flight computer as you will see in the other file I uploaded beside this one. I met up with the transport crew and told them a brief about what this was all about. I told them to buy as many military supplies as we could offering good prices to deprive the GMG of as much military power as we could. I told them to wait for me in the docks. I had to get to those labs and retrieve some of the technology that they were researching to let Rheinland know what they were up against. I managed to get to the labs and get some weird crystal like things that were definatley a sample of whetever they were researching. I loaded up three trollies and carted them to the dock. Just as we were loading them onto the Transports a security alert went off. The transports launched but my ship was already seized. So I hid in a small supply, that's when somthing fell on my head, I was knocked unconcious. I hope to hell the transports got away.
I woke up some time later but the alarm had stopped. I slipped out of the cupboard and no-one was in sight, not a single person. I headed for my ship, it was still there but no-one was watching it. The place was deserted. I got in the cockpit and began launching precedures, the hangar doors were locked down. That's when I heard a loud female automated voice say. SELF DESTRUCTION OF WEIMAR T MINUS 5 MINUTES. On My scanner i could see multiple Rheinland Military Ships outside and a few GMG fighters. The GMG had fled Weimar and taken as much military resources as they could carry.
That was when I wrote this, I just hope Rheinland never get to see whatever the GMG had in store for them. I will jettisson my flight computer because the transmission to the Daumann satellite is not complete and the station will blow up before it's finished.
I hope those Rheinland Ships get clear of the station or they will be as dead as me. Whoever you are Rheinland must know of GMG and their technology, make it your highest priority or this war will last for at least 80 years.
So it was GMG station, with all the nomads and WIld running rampant around here I half expected it was them as soon as I heard of the nomad brains. The explosion of the station must have engulfed the Rheinland ships outside and the transports must have been too tough to burn up. But then why would Rheinland be all hush hush about it? Why did they need to hide it? If anything it would have been an inspiration to the Military knowing they had made a big victory over the GMG.
Unless...
The Rheinland Reichstag may have been infected by the nomads at that time. Not as much as it was at 800 but maybe enough operatives to keep the nomad technology behind closed doors for it may have revealed them before they could openly attack sirius.
Well the world needs to know, for all we know the GMG could still have a vast amount of nomad technology that we don't know about. And judging by how that Junker got infected by that nomad brain, who's to say the GMG could be on the same side as the nomads. People need to know about this, i'm going to consult my CO now.
Well, i've been disbanded. My CO told me that if we were to reveal this information to Sirrius, Rheinland would move in on Gruinder and the Junkers would be out of the picture. That's all these idiots care about, Junk and what lucky finds they can get among the rubble. While I was away he sent some men to confiscate the the information on Weimar, nameley the flight computer, and and the Daumann beakon computer.
I've been told that i'm unnasigned, and that I am Free to roam Sirrius as I please as a reward for my efforts. Well if you ask me theyr'e getting rid of me, getting me out of the picture. And to think that my own faction stabbing me in the back for a pile of floating metal. Idiots, they have no idea.
Well Sirrius will still know, and i'l make sure of that. Lucky I posted the transmission into my log, I have a contact on Freeport 4, a Lane Hacker, he's pretty good with hacking connections networks especially Liberty based one. I've already contacted him and he said he could get my transmission posted on every screen in New York. But at a high price.
Now? I'l do what i've been told to do, Freelance around Sirrius until i can earn enough money to pay the Hacker to do the job. So now I conclude my log of the Excavation of Gruinder but remember just because this log has been concluded...
